This Godsend Product Saved My Damaged Curly Hair

We have all been there. After months of trying to force our hair into some sort of submission, we realize we have permanently damaged the hair we have left.
At that point, what can you do?
Many turn to frequent moisturizing treatments, constant deep conditioning, or supposedly-miracle hair care tricks, like sleeping with your hair wrapped in plastic. All of these fixes are only temporary.
When I dyed my curly hair blonde, and I mean BLONDE, at home, the damage done was unmistakable. My curls practically weren’t even curls anymore. They were more like sad, limp yellow noodles.
Eventually, after trying a bunch of moisturizing tricks like the ones mentioned above, I found my holy grail for damaging repaired hair. It was a protein treatment.
You see, if you don’t already know, dying and frying your hair causes it to have a lot more porosity than usual. And this is not a desirable trait for those who already have a lot of porosity, because porosity is basically holes in your hair shaft, put in the simplest of terms.
So what was the product?
It was a just the 2 step protein treatment from Aphogee!
Before using this, I didn’t even understand why anyone would use protein treatments on their curly hair, what they did for your hair strands, or whether it would help me. After using it, I was a total convert. While my hair was still blonde I continued to use this at least every month to keep my curl and save my hair from completely breaking off.
Now, it’s important to keep in mind that this protein treatment might not be the right one for you. In fact, some naturalistas who are already blessed with strong, protein-rich hair may find that this makes their hair TOO stiff and a bit crunchy.
But if you’re having problems with mushy-feeling hair, if you have a lot of breakage, or if your hair seems to take for-EVER to dry, then this could be the miracle product for you.
